Episode 3 - "Why is it so important to follow the Bible? Is the Apocrypha part of the Bible? A: Bible is the Word of God; it cannot be broken (John 10:35). When God speaks, we must listen (Amos 3:8). We dare not add to it nor subtract from it (Prov. 30:5-6). When men contradict the Bible, we must obey God and not men (Acts 5:29). The Apocrypha is a collection of 13 books which give us some idea of what Jews believed in the period between 300 and 100 b.c. They contain some interesting history and ideas, but they are not the Word of God.
