In this video, I discuss the question of the best Bible translation to use. While the answer ultimately depends on what you will read, I recommend the Legacy Standard Bible (LSB). The LSB is a newer translation rooted in the New American Standard Bible (NASB) and seeks to be a faithful window into the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts. It preserves the name Yahweh, translates "doulos" as "slave," and maintains closer phrasing to the original languages.
